Requirements

  • Advanced/fluent English skills โ€“ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, etc
  • +5 years experience in a BI role providing data analytics and business insights
  • Proven strength in systems and process scaling
  • Expertise with data visualization methodology and tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Expertise with data querying and analysis languages and tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
  • Experience in Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses
  • Experience in Data Transformation: Experience using Matillion, dbt, or other ETL/ELT tools to transform and prepare data for analysis
  • Expertise with descriptive as well as predictive analytics
  • Excellent presentation and design skills, specifically written and verbal communication to an executive audience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation and scaling of the analytics ecosystem, driving growth and strategy
  • Use Snowflake for data warehousing and manage large datasets for transformation and analysis
  • Perform custom data analysis to provide insights and support business decisions for internal and customer requests
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and offer data-driven suggestions to meet underlying needs
  • Deliver key insights to support enterprise decisions through data-driven approaches
  • Gather, cleanse, verify, and present data in digestible and impactful formats
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from various sources within the Snowflake Data Platform
  • Implement data transformation workflows using tools like Matillion, dbt, or other ETL tools to ensure data quality and structure
  • Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data flows across systems
  • Design and develop scalable, reusable data models for consistent and efficient reporting and analytics
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve issues or improve processes
  • Balance multiple priorities effectively
  • Partner with other analysts across the company to leverage existing insights and documentation
  • Design, build, and maintain business process and data documentation
