About the Role

We are looking for a talented designer to create a custom book cover for a self-published medical romantic comedy. This project is ideal for someone with a strong background in graphic design and illustration, especially with experience in designing romance book covers. As the author has specific character images in mind that are not available in stock image libraries, the role will involve crafting unique character illustrations that capture the spirit of the book. This project can be completed remotely, and it is anticipated to take a few hours of design work spread over the next month.

• Proven experience in graphic design and illustration, with a focus on book cover design
• Familiarity with the romance genre and its visual trends, particularly for covers
• Ability to create custom character illustrations based on detailed descriptions
• Excellent communication skills to capture and iterate on creative ideas
• Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to meet project milestones within a month
