Requirements

  • Board-certified MD/DO or NP
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical practice in primary care setting
  • 1+ years previous telehealth experience
  • 1+ years leadership experience, including supervising teams / other clinical staff
  • Multiple active state licenses in good standing, including PA, DE, IL, DC, DE, MD, NJ, OH, TX, FL
  • Willing and able to get licensed in additional states
  • Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with team members/patients
  • Extremely strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond rapidly in escalated scenarios, and provide empathetic patient care along the way
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Resilient and flexible with the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Strong consultative abilities and conflict-resolution skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care via telemedicine
  • Address time-sensitive clinical questions / escalations from team, clinicians, patients, ensuring appropriate responses and follow up
  • Serve as backup for clinical team members as needed, including adjusting prescriptions and lab orders or conducting patient follow up
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new clinicians
  • Maintain and update training materials and SOPs
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and training to Vitableโ€™s clinicians
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical care, including conducting chart reviews and providing feedback
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and implement strategies to enhance clinical care
  • Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with team members as a clinical leader
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned
