Remote Data Engineer

Summary

Join Softeta as a Data Engineer to help establish integrations to the new data platform, focus on Next Generation Custody specific data analytics and reporting needs, and collaborate with architects and developers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and demonstrated experience with GCP services, including but not limited to BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Competence in SQL programming for data manipulation and querying
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
• Experience with Tableau/Looker
• Knowledge of Terraform - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool for managing cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of data processes like ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality management
• Fundamental understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance development workflows

Responsibilities

• Utilize the data platform to build reports and analytics
• Be a part of establishing data products and incorporating them into our reports and market place
• Collaborating with architects, product owners and other developers
