Remote Datacenter General Manager / Vice President of Hyperscale

Summary

Join our team as a Hyper scale Data Center General Manager (Owner Representative) to lead the design and construction management process of our data center division. The successful candidate will have expertise in data center development, construction management, and team leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data center development, construction management
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale data center projects
• Experience with brownfield projects and liquid-cooled data centers
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Knowledge of data center design, construction, and operations
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Tier III/IV)
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Asana)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors
• Lead the design team to ensure the data center meets technical requirements
• Manage the construction process, including permitting, procurement, and commissioning
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors
• Supervise and mentor project team members
• Foster effective communication among stakeholders
• Manage conflicts and resolve issues promptly
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Ensure quality control measures are in place
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress
• Manage project expenses and ensure budget adherence
• Analyze costs, identify savings opportunities
• Approve invoices and payments
• Communicate project status to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, vendors
