Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar regulated industry
  • Experience with aspects of vendor oversight including but not limited to vendor selection, contract development, SLAs, performance management, continuous process improvement, writing policies and procedures
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful procurement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Act as a strategic partner in business decision-making, offering insights and recommendations to support long-term planning
  • Identify and develop supply markets, ensuring the business has access to the best available suppliers and resources
  • Oversee procurement reporting and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability in all procurement activities
  • Serve as the procurement systems SME, optimizing systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support and guide a small team, remaining hands-on and flexible to assist in day-to-day tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, promoting best practices across the organization

Our holding company is managing both the Endpoint and Fortrea Patient Access businesses. Position Overview:

The Director, Procurement will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic objectives of the business by developing supply markets and acting as a trusted thought partner in decision-making. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who anticipates the needs of the business, ensures seamless procurement operations, and views procurement as a strategic business enablement function.

Reporting to the Vice President, Procurement, the Director will oversee all procurement activities and will play a crucial role in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner in business decision-making, offering insights and recommendations to support long-term planning.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or similar fields, is highly preferred.
  • Master’s Degrees or relevant Certifications is a plus.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar regulated industry.
  • Experience with aspects of vendor oversight including but not limited to vendor selection, contract development, SLAs, performance management, continuous process improvement, writing policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful procurement initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively.
  • Experience building relationships and working with cross functional business teams.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

  • Proactive team player enthusiastic with high work ethic.

$150,000 - $180,000 a year
