Expert Data Scientist - Observability

Join the Product Team at Feedzai, a leading RiskOps platform for financial risk management, and contribute to building innovative products that disrupt the industry. As a Product Data Science role, you will lead and guide Data Science/Machine Learning teams to deliver Feedzai's financial crime fighting products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ML Observability
• 3+ years of experience with very large datasets
• 5+ years of experience in applied ML
• 5+ years of data science work including experiment design
• Experience in communicating complex concepts to customers and/or key stakeholder

Responsibilities

• Understanding the data Feedzai generates and processes
• Provide technical leadership to the team from driving architecture, design, and experimental setups up to building working prototypes
• Be responsible for the planning, execution, and success of technical projects
• Work with key stakeholders across all groups within the Engineering and Product Teams
• Develop scalable data pipelines with tools such as Airflow and Trino
• Analyze data using the Python scientific stack (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, ...) while leveraging distributed computing, e.g. with PySpark

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Machine Learning Platform initiatives
• Experience working with time-series (exponential moving averages, forecasting, etc.)
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and related
• Knowledge of tree based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LightGBM)
• Knowledge of Deep Learning algorithms
• Experience within the fraud detection, compliance and/or digital payments domains
• Practical experience with Kubernetes
