Redwood Strategy Group, Inc. is currently collecting resumes for Financial Analyst/Junior future opportunities. In this position the Financial Analyst will be responsible for funds control, and funds management to include funds release, creation of MIPRs, purchase requisitions (PR), and interagency agreements. Duties will also include funds realignment and transfer of funds.

Position is located in Arlington, VA with potential opportunity for remote.

Requirements

• Education: BS/BA Degree preferred
• The financial analyst(junior)shall have a minimum of one (1) year of general experience in: automated systems to include database maintenance and reporting; the ability to extract and report reliable data; sound oral, analytical, and written communications skills; experience communicating with various levels of personnel; and ability to anticipate, project, and plan accordingly.
• Further, the financial analyst (junior) shall have one (1) year of specialized experience in similar services; knowledge and application experience of basic finance or accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial documents and identify problems.
• The ideal candidate should be strong in defense financial analysis
• Excel proficient; Interest in Power BI and Microsoft Power Aps
• Process oriented and looks for ways to make a process more efficient
• Strong attention to detail required
• DoD Final or Interim SECRET clearance required.
