Requirements

• Candidates must have graduated from undergraduate or graduate school
• Previous relevant experience like internships at publications and work at collegiate publications are strongly preferred
• Thrive on economics and business news
• Value and balance speed and stamina with originality, accuracy, and completeness
• Consume a lot of news from a breadth of sources
• Write clean, accurate, and insightful copy on deadline
• Skill in editing in Adobe Premiere; familiarity with camera and lighting and with social video platforms like Instagram and TikTok
• Facility in proofing, packaging, and curating content as well as using digital production tools for web and newsletters

Responsibilities

• Be assigned to a specific team and focus
• Report and write your own stories
• Pitch stories and take assignments

• Work both independently and collaboratively
