Frontend Web Software Engineer

Summary

Join Airbnb's User Clients team as a Frontend Engineer and contribute to building and shaping the future of user-related product flows. You will be responsible for creating a secure, reliable, and delightful authentication experience for millions of Airbnb users. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and data science, to deliver high-quality products. The position requires 2+ years of frontend web development experience with expertise in modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling. The role is US-Remote Eligible, with occasional office work or offsite attendance. Compensation includes a competitive salary range, bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in frontend web development
• Experience with modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling (e.g. React, graphql)
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Strong product sense and a passion for UX product development
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver high-quality products in the reviews, standards, and insights space
• Follow frontend paved path and best practices within a fast-paced tech environment
• Work with cross functional partners (product managers, design etc) to define and deliver high-quality products
• Collaborate within and across engineering teams to build systems that are performant, scalable and robust
• Collaborate with teammates via code reviews and architecture discussions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with animation libraries
• Interest in working with data and performance insights
