Remote Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a versatile Frontend/Full-Stack SDK Developer who can contribute to the development and maintenance of our SDKs across both frontend and backend environments. While your primary focus will be on creating and enhancing SDKs for popular frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), you will also be expected to work on backend SDKs as needed and you will have the opportunity to explore Mobile SKDs. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure the seamless integration of our media management solutions across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SDKs for frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, ensuring ease of use and high performance for developers.
• Contribute to backend SDKs in languages like Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP to provide comprehensive solutions that integrate with Cloudinary’s APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure SDKs meet user needs and fit within Cloudinary’s larger platform ecosystem.
• Engage with the open-source community, contributing to Cloudinary’s public repositories and interacting with developers for feedback and improvements​.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while ensuring thorough testing and code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge and experience with backend development in Node.js, and at least one additional backend language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, GO) is a plus.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud services, and media management workflows is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining SDKs or libraries, with a focus on developer usability and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first team and contribute to open-source projects​.
