Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 17 years of relevant working experience in IT
  • Experience with frontend (React) and backend (NodeJS) development
  • Good understanding of the deployment of web-based microservices, including containers, networking, certificate (authorities), REST APIs, reverse proxies (Traefik)
  • Good understanding of automation tools to allow managing infrastructure at scale, including Terraform and Ansible
  • Good understanding of version control with git and source code hosting on GitHub
  • Familiarity with cloud providers, in particular Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Development of open source project, including the core service (NodeJS), the backend API (NodeJS/Express), the frontend UI (NextJS/React), and the various auxiliary services
  • Assist with Infrastructure to facilitate end to end testing, building of container images and software packages, and releases
  • Assist with Client tooling and configuration for the various data shippers
  • Assist with Configuration, security, and performance improvements of the various bundled services, with a specific focus on RedPanda
  • Assist with Writing and maintaining documentation (Markdown/MDX/Docusaurus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining of an open source project is a plus
  • Experience with streaming data, in particular RedPanda (or Kafka) is a plus
  • Experience with development in Go is a plus
  • Experience with observability is a plus

We currently have a vacancy for a Full-stack developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.
