Remote Hawaiian Transcriber

Summary

Join us as a Hawaiian Transcriber in a remote project-based position, where you'll research for talk-to-text technology and transcribe audio files according to provided guidelines. The workload is dependent on project needs, and you'll be paid per minute of audio transcribed.

Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Hawaiian including the ability to read and write
• Excellent grammar/ orthography and punctuation in Hawaiian. You will be required to take a test
• Have an Upwork profile, or be willing to create an Upwork profile
• High-speed internet access
• Access to e-mail

Responsibilities

• Transcribe all assigned audio files
• Follow project guidelines
• Meet project deadlines
• Make consistent progress on assigned audio files
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner
