Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or a related field of study
- Long term professional experience of energy and control technology
- Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls
- Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
- Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
- Prepare the design specifications, documentation, and effort estimations
- Clarify the technical requirements within the project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
- Implement control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
