Remote IT Security Officer

Summary

Join our growing international law firm as an IT Security Officer, working remotely. We're looking for a security expert to advise on system design and architecture, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with IS security procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with IT/Cyber security
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Security, or a related field
• Experience in security engineering, system administration, or other related security fields

Responsibilities

• Advise and assess system design/architecture
• Define, design, and evaluate information security systems
• Report, document, and investigate all security related incidents
• Assist with development and implementation of corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with IS security procedures
• Initiate protective and corrective measures when incident or vulnerabilities are discovered
• Perform operational maintenance on the tech infrastructure – PaaS/SaaS platforms, VPN, performance monitoring tools, mgt systems, etc)
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure/AWS-based technology security parameters and hardening
• Respond to escalated troubleshooting requests
• Maintain and administer security standards, documentation, and fault tolerance
• Perform/support integration testing as required
• Experience installing, hardening, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network security technologies
