Remote Junior Frontend Software Developer

Summary

Join Riptide Technology as a Junior Software Developer and support Maritime Domain Awareness capabilities of the Office of Naval Intelligence. The role involves web application development, IT support services, software design, and direct on-call support to analysts.

Requirements

• BS in a Computer Science discipline with 2+ years of recent related IT experience
• IAT II Certification (Sec+ or other)
• Security Clearance: Active DoD - Secret
• 2+ years of experience web frontend development
• Must have experience with JavaScript and Python
• Experience with Docker containers and REST APIs required
• Experience with Scrum project management methodology

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications
• Utilize Java coding skills to maintain and sustain current capabilities
• Develop and maintain source code in compliance with secure coding standards, application STIGS, and all applicable government regulations, guidance, and directions
• Troubleshoot application deployment
• Collaborate and work within an Agile team development process
• Gathering information from consumers about program functionality
• Conducting development tests
