Remote Junior Mainframe Administrator

Join a dynamic team at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions and contribute to the operation of mainframe applications for renowned clients. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of these systems, developing new processes, and collaborating with international colleagues.

Requirements

• Accept continuous shift schedule / DuPont Shift Schedule
• Fluent English and/or German language skills (at least intermediate level)
• IT studies and/or relevant IT experience
• Independent precise work execution

Responsibilities

• Operate mainframe applications (auto manufacturing, banking processes etc.)
• Maintain highest level of IBM industrial technologies (Mainframe; DB/DC, OPC, JCL and more...)
• Operate IBM Mainframe architecture - ensuring 0-24 hour availability for our international corporate clients
• Handle problems and events promptly and accurately
• Implement customer requests
• Develop, implement new standard processes, methods, and solutions - automate operational workflows
• Maintain regular contact with German and other international colleagues/customers
