Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in graphic design, including digital, and print design; preferably within the tech and cybersecurity field
  • High-level understanding of design best practices including typography, layout design, color theory and marketing fundamentals
  • Ability to conceptualize innovative design solutions with passion and a problem-solving mentality
  • Solid knowledge of branding principles and the ability to create designs that align with and push forward the brand's identity
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect designs
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • You have a compelling portfolio that showcases your design abilities, style, and experience

Responsibilities

  • Concept, develop, and build a variety of creative assets to support our marketing and business objectives including emails, digital advertising, social graphics, web banners and landing pages, eBooks, infographics and reports, presentations, print collateral and trade show display
  • Use advanced skills in design and strategy to develop and maintain Blackpoint’s brand, collaborating with the Creative Director to design high-quality creative that has lasting impact
  • Lead digital asset development for our website and partner portal creating a streamlined user experience
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while staying focused on the objective and ensuring deadlines are met on time and files are organized according to department standards
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively, using design-based feedback from team members and highlighting testing opportunities
  • Manage design process across all phases of a project, from translating verbal ideas into visual concepts, through design development and refinement to creating production-ready artwork
  • Develop marketing materials based on feedback from the sales team and our clients to help support our partners in marketing our service and software
  • Bring new ideas for effective and engaging design and content creation to the team
  • Promote design guidelines, best practices and standards and share insight on industry trends

Position Overview:

We seek a passionate, proactive individual with a love for graphic design and a track record of leveraging design expertise to fuel successful marketing endeavors. You are someone who can take concepts and create visual representations, in both print and digital media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.
