Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- 3+ years of sales experience in metrology, quality assurance, or a related field
- Understanding of metrology principles, first article inspection processes, and relevant measurement tools and technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing effective sales strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address client challenges effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive company culture
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in metrology and first article inspection markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Maintain a deep understanding of our metrology products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate their value to clients
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate metrology solutions
- Develop and present compelling proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with client specifications and budget constraints
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations and addressing client inquiries
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies as needed
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions in the CRM system
