Remote Nuer Transcriber

Summary

Join us as a Nuer Transcriber in a remote, project-based contract position. You will transcribe audio files in Nuer and Thok Naath languages, following provided guidelines. The workload is dependent on project needs, and you will be paid per minute of audio transcribed.

Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Nuer, Thok Naath, including the ability to read and write
• Excellent grammar/ orthography and punctuation in Nuer, Thok Naath
• Have an Upwork profile, or be willing to create an Upwork profile
• High-speed internet access
• Access to e-mail

Responsibilities

• Transcribe all assigned audio files
• Follow project guidelines
• Meet project deadlines
• Make consistent progress on assigned audio files
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner
