Remote Online German (DAF) Teacher

Join our team of passionate language teachers! We're looking for individuals with fluency in their teaching language, a teaching certificate, and experience as a second language teacher. You'll be working remotely, so you'll need reliable technical equipment and skills to navigate Zoom.us. If you're adaptable, communicative, and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Hold proof of freelance status and be responsible for handling your invoices and taxes
• Have an official C2 CEFR certificate if German is not your native language

Responsibilities

• Have an outstanding command of the language you wish to teach
• Speak and write well in English for communication with the Online Teaching Team
• Hold a DAF (or related) teaching certificate from a recognised educational institution
• Have experience as a second language teacher
• Be very familiar with Zoom.us and enjoy discovering new features to incorporate in the virtual classroom
• Handle unexpected technical problems and challenging teaching situations confidently and professionally
• Keep students engaged and motivated, and communicate easily with the Online Teaching Team when necessary
• Have an energetic and passionate teaching style, and be eager to learn from students, peers, and adapt to a developing field
