Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective operation of information and communications technology systems
  • Take part in the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members
  • Collaborate with the Operations Improvement team to implement, coordinate and monitor the induction, post induction process, and ensures consistency across the new-hire training program
  • Oversee candidate support processes to enhance candidate/customer satisfaction
  • Assess and report OTC teams’ progress to the OTC Manager
  • Ensure that the procedures in place comply with PeopleCert’s requirements, are applied effectively, and are seamlessly integrated into the OTC department’s workflow
  • Provide guidance to the department’s staff pertaining to adherence to testing quality standards
  • Be flexible and available to undertake any responsibilities as per the decision of the OTC executive administration
  • Ensure that customer enquiries are dealt in accordance with the performance and service standards as laid down by PeopleCert
  • Carry out any reasonably allocated duties and tasks, relevant to the role and the scope of activities by applying a flexible and adaptable customer centric approach to serve PEOPLECERT’s multinational presence and global operations across multiple time zones

The Online Test Centre Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned Online Test Centre(OTC) teams. The OTC Supervisor ensures that OTC teams deliver the highest standards of services to customers and assure a flawless exam experience, as well as performs a variety of administrative tasks pertaining to the day-to-day work of the Online Test Centre.

The supervisor’s overall role is to communicate organizational needs, oversee OTC teams’ performance, provide guidance to OTC Team Leaders, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between the OTC staff and the organization so that each is successful.

Online Test Centre Supervisors are responsible for conducting performance evaluations according to established systems and policies, developing goals and setting organizational strategies collaboratively with their direct reports, ensuring that goals are clearly communicated and current.

The position reports to the Online Test Centre Manager.

As an Online Test Centre Supervisor your tasks will include the following:

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Management, Computer science Quality Assurance in Management, Educational Leadership or relevant discipline)
  • Post graduate degree, Research and/ or Management/Administration will be taken into consideration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the certification of persons and/or education, quality assurance, training, and exam fields
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Excellent command of the English language (native or C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). Extra languages will be considered as an asset.
  • Very good written communication skills
  • Prioritization and project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, Knowledge of effective planning and Excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ECDL certification will be considered an asset.
  • Robust decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, self-driven, flexible, and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

  • Financial background check

  • Employment reference check

  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
