We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Principal AI Engineer with a focus on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning to help turn our vision into reality for our customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and deploy KRR systems for applications across accounting including:

  • Chat/Dialogue based interfaces
  • Automatic code generation
  • Document understanding
  • Question answering

• Design, implement, and deploy systems for the encoding of accounting knowledge by naïve users

• Provide technical leadership to more junior engineers

• Design and implement core KRR components of the Cynch AI platform

• Significant experience developing and applying KRR to business applications

• Experience delivering AI based products

• 3+ years experience with Deep Learning

• PhD in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR)

• Experience building KRR infrastructure at scale

• Experience with KRR techniques, e.g., Datalog, Answer Set Programming

• Experience with Natural Language Processing

• Experience at the intersection of reasoning and learning

• Experience using LLMs in the context of KRR systems

• Experience with Deep Learning and Deep Learning tools: Tensorflow, PyTorch, or equivalent

Nice to have:

• Coding in Julia
• Coding in Python
• Docker
• AWS
