Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience (or 12+ years of experience with advanced degrees) in data science and AI, with a proven track record of building AI software products, and leading technical efforts
  • Strong expertise in AI & ML model and use case development, including hands-on experience with Python or related languages for data analytics, GenAI and machine learning
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of modern machine learning technologies and operational infrastructure
  • Product Development: Experience in collaborating with product management and design, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive successful delivery
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to develop a strong point of view and drive vision forward
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the AI Technology and Architectural directions for Seismic, ensuring alignment with business goals and product roadmaps
  • Work hands-on with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to build AI & ML applications, assessing tradeoffs and evaluating options to deliver high quality and high value product solutions
  • Lead the integration of AI capabilities across the Seismic platform, including data foundation, conversational intelligence, video analysis, content management and discovery systems
  • Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the data science and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven product enhancements and collaborate on AI product roadmap development
  • Define and analyze key metrics to measure the success of AI initiatives, ensuring high-quality, high-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions
