Summary

Join PostHog as a Product Manager and contribute to the success of our globally distributed, remote-first company! You will work with engineering teams, analyzing data and interacting with users across multiple products. Your responsibilities include running growth reviews, conducting data research, organizing user interviews, and coaching product engineers. Requirements

  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • Deep understanding of business and product metrics (activation, retention, churn, etc.) and a track record of defining and tracking key product metrics
  • Ability to conduct ambiguous / open-ended analysis with minimal guidance
  • Very proactive/organized
  • Collaborative

Responsibilities

  • Run growth reviews for products that have product-market-fit
  • Dive into data research projects to answer challenging questions without obvious answers
  • Organize user interviews
  • Coach product engineers on "how to do product"
  • Analyze data to find actionable patterns to reach $100M ARR
  • Answer questions such as: How does revenue/usage churn for your product compare across different segments? Which behaviours lead to long-term retention for your product?
  • Ensure the team has the right metrics for growth reviews, dig into changes, understand user actions and churn reasons, and determine if deeper investigation or re-prioritization is needed
  • Conduct data deep-dives outside of recurring growth reviews
  • Determine how to package and price new products for better usage or revenue
  • Help engineers with UX for new product concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any additional data modelling or querying expertise
  • Any additional product management expertise / experience (e.g. interviewing users or working with designers and engineers on new user experiences)
