Summary

Join Woven by Toyota as a Scrum Product Manager to oversee the development of different types of applications, ranging from web applications to API-provided back-end-only services, and help define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leading or managing new software product / service development projects
  • Experience in launching cloud-based production-level web application products
  • Experience in agile software development and having agile standard knowledge
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, displaying strong verbal and written presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key narrative and presentation styles to multiple audiences
  • Experience in conflict management under different cultures / languages and different decision-making mechanisms/logic
  • Proficiency in business-level English and Japanese language

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work closely with the scrum team to translate user stories and requirements into applicable tasks
  • Ensure seamless integration of the product with other Woven City products and the common platform
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to inform decision-making and optimize the product
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders, including the development team and senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team by implementing best practices in agile development and modern product management techniques
