QA Engineer, Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System, Math or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience: Senior QA Engineer (5+ years), QA Engineer (2+ years), Associate QA Engineer (industry experience a plus)
• Familiar with software testing methodologies, tools, and approaches in the Enterprise software industry
• Experienced in writing test cases/test scenarios that cover both sanity and in-depth testing including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests
• Familiar with automation testing, experienced in at least one programming language, Python preferred
• Good knowledge in relational databases, intermediate or advanced fluency reading, and writing SQL statements
• Good knowledge of Linux, script programming for test tools
• Good knowledge in Web service
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with others
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin fluently
• Proficient in English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for functional testing upon web, WeChat, WeCom, and iOS app
• Work closely with product managers, developers within the scrum team to ensure the product delivery as scheduled
• Create test plan, test cases/scripts, test data, etc. according to software requirements and design documents
• Allocate defects and analyze associated risks, push problem-solving and verify outcomes
• Automate new features for better regression coverage, analyze automation results
