Remote R&D Engineers

Summary

Join our team as a passionate R&D Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software that converts images into survey-grade accurate and georeferenced 2D mosaics, 3D models, and point clouds. As an R&D Engineer, you will work on various technical subjects, including computer vision algorithms, machine learning, and data processing. You will be part of a distributed team and engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and good software engineering practices.

Requirements

• Expertise in modern C++ and Python programming languages
• Experience in computer vision and image processing. Additional experience in image segmentation and object detection is a strong plus
• Experience with data analysis techniques
• Mathematical and problem solving skills; pride in high-quality work
• Understanding of deep learning and other machine learning algorithms
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Research, design, implement and maintain algorithms for 2D (images) and 3D (point clouds) data processing
• Engage in the full product life-cycle from early concepts and prototypes to full deployment
• Participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of core software components and critical ETL infrastructure
• Participate in the QA process
• Work as part of a distributed team and engage in technical discussions in a creative, interactive and dynamic team-based environment
• Actively participate in the team and company’s agile processes
• Engage daily in code reviews and promote good software engineering practices
