Remote Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Automation Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in .NET/C# development with a strong understanding of async/await patterns
• Extensive experience in Azure infrastructure and administration, including Azure AD and Entra ID
• Proven expertise in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects to Azure
• Proficiency in configuring Azure networking components (VNets, SubNets, snapshots)
• Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services (API Management, SQL Server, Container Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Application Insights)
• Experience with Azure AI and OpenAI services
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
• Extensive experience in Active Directory administration
• Familiarity with adaptive MFA policies and B2B application access in Entra ID
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Proficient in applying SDLC best practices, patterns, and principles
• Experience working with Microsoft APIs (Graph, Azure DevOps, PnP, Azure SDK)

Responsibilities

• Work on cloud migration projects
• Manage network configurations including VNets, SubNets, and snapshots
• Develop scalable and secure applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with other IaC tools like Ansible or Chef
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of OpenAI’s GPT models and integrating AI capabilities into applications
• Experience in product engineering methodologies
