Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with React, with a solid understanding of its core principles and ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles, leading frontend teams or projects
  • Strong proficiency in plain JavaScript, including ES6+ features
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
  • Extensive experience working with complex APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL
  • Proven expertise in building complex visualization interfaces, using libraries like D3.js or similar
  • Familiarity with building and deploying applications using Netlify or similar platforms
  • Proven track record of working on SaaS products, demonstrating a deep understanding of user needs and product requirements
  • Experience building and maintaining production web applications, with attention to performance and scalability
  • Ability to deliver meticulous, pixel-perfect implementations of designs
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with modern build tools and version control (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the frontend team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Drive the development of complex frontend features and visualization interfaces using React, JavaScript, and Redux, ensuring alignment with product strategy and timelines
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code to enhance our web applications
  • Translate precise design specifications into pixel-perfect implementations, collaborating closely with our User Experience team
  • Integrate frontend components with complex backend APIs, working in tandem with back-end developers for seamless functionality
  • Implement best practices for frontend development, including performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Deploy applications using platforms like Netlify, and setting up efficient CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our frontend stack
