Jr/Mid Fullstack Developer

Join Zipdev as a Jr/Mid Fullstack Developer with React experience for a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate is a passionate music lover with a strong work ethic and experience in SCRUM. You will work on multiple projects, estimate tasks, and collaborate closely with a team. The role requires 3+ years of full-stack development experience, proficiency in ReactJs and various backend technologies, and AWS experience. Requirements

• Have 3+ years of experience as a Full-stack developer with hands-on experience
• Be proficient in ReactJs in the frontend and varied backend technologies (NodeJS, Python, Java, ROR, .NET)
• Have experience hosting and deploying on AWS
• Have experience with seasonal scaling of web properties
• Understand how event tracking code snippets work for tracking
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Currently reside in Latin America/Mexico
• Have background in working in Jira, Tempo, Mixpannel, GTM, and messaging tools

Responsibilities

• Work in SCRUM and as part of a pod
• Estimate tasks and understand Epics, Stories, and Tasks
• Work closely with a Product Manager, Product Owner, and Technology lead
• Multi-task and work on multiple projects
• Manage time and meet deadlines
• Talk through a day in life on past development projects
• Discuss style and approach to solving tasks
• Detail involvement with Scrum, t-shirt estimating, and Tempo usage
• Demonstrate understanding of Product Roadmap and experience with projects having deadlines
• Work in a peer-to-peer development environment, including code review and deployment to various environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Be familiar with SASS, twig
• Have experience with automated testing
• Understand website migration with Contentful
• Have experience with configuring Mulesoft end-points
