Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of our global immigration, relocation and mobility programs
  • You are the first point of contact for our external immigration partners, new and prospective employees and leadership in order to provide seamless process for all parties
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient immigration and relocation processes, including visa applications, work permits, and employee support
  • You partner with Senior Leadership to provide strategic mobility solutions for our global workforce
  • You have oversight of concurrent immigration needs and PR applications in partnership with our Immigration council while providing updates to Senior Leaders
  • You oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to immigration and relocation activities to identify trends and improve processes
  • You’ll work closely with People and Culture, legal, and external immigration consultants to ensure all aspects of the programs are legally compliant and effectively managed
  • Provide insight, guidance and recommendations to Senior Leadership and Talent Acquisition on mobility and immigration requirements
  • You lead training and education on new policies and legal deviation related to immigration and mobility
  • You research creative solutions to minimize risk, expedite the immigration process and adhere to industry and governmental standards
  • You manage the Arc’teryx global immigration and mobility budget
  • You oversee reporting of immigration and mobility data, ensuring quick access to information and data for stakeholders who need it

You’ll be responsible for transforming and executing the immigration and mobility programs while leading and influencing the global mobility conversation for current and prospective employees around the world!

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Reporting to the Program Manager, Talent Acquisition you will work closely with a team of energetic, personable, and collaborative recruiters who are focused on attracting and selecting the very best candidates for our corporate, manufacturing and retail teams while ensuring an incredible candidate experience every step of the way.

We support Arc’teryx’s global footprint which includes Offices in North Vancouver, Munich, Ogden, Tokyo, Hong Kong and others within NAM, EMEA and APAC.

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Lead the RFP process for selecting new mobility vendors with a focus on candidate experience, flexibility and scalability
  • Re-designing and implementing a comprehensive global immigration and employee relocation framework in coordination Business partners, Talent Acquisition and Total rewards that align with the company’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • You’ll partner with our People & Culture Managers, Total Rewards and Employee Experience team to develop innovative programs that enable talent mobility globally
  • Navigating complexities of local EMEA and APAC immigration policies and close coordination with regional legal experts

$91,000 - $114,000 a year

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$91,000 - CAD$114,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
