Remote Senior Performance Tester

Requirements

• Speak German - B2
• Are proficient in JMeter for performance and load testing
• Have strong analytical skills to identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues in backend systems
• Have experience in SQL for database queries and analysis
• Are able to write and execute test cases
• Have experience with API testing and understanding API behavior and performance
• Have strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Are able to communicate effectively with a German-speaking developer team
• Have experience in taking ownership of testing processes, with a focus on improving system performance

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing on backend modules using JMeter
• Develop and maintain test scripts to evaluate the system's performance
• Identify and address bugs in the system that are blocking further testing
• Ensure that the major functionalities of each module are thoroughly tested to meet performance standards
• Collaborate closely with German-speaking developers to discuss technical requirements and issues
• Take ownership of performance testing strategy, including defining, planning, and executing performance test cases
• Perform API testing and work with API-related tasks, ensuring integration with other systems and modules
• Utilize SQL for database validation and performance-related queries
• Work independently from the Scrum team but align closely with other project teams and stakeholders
