Summary

Join us in supporting the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS) as a Senior Software Architect, developing and guiding software architecture vision for assigned programs.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from a college or university
  • A minimum total of 10 years developing software, with an additional 5 years experience in development software architecture artifacts for DoD systems including a combination of
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in development of U.S. military ground vehicle systems; and
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in developing and documenting software architectures using Unified Modeling Language

Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide the software architecture vision for assigned programs
  • Lead the application of modern software development methodologies (e.g., DevSecOps)
  • Ensure compliance with ground vehicle safety and cybersecurity best practices
  • Identify and integrate data management requirements
  • Develop software architecture models using UAF, SysML, or UML
  • Participate in software and vehicle testing, design analysis, and simulations
  • Provide input on engineering analysis, design, and testing documentation
  • Support software development planning and acquisition activities
  • Assist in requirements management and risk analysis
