Remote Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native applications and a demonstrated track record of leadership in technical roles
• Extensive experience in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and associated frameworks/libraries (e.g., Express, NestJS), with a focus on large-scale applications
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js ) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS), with a strong focus on user experience and performance
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
• Expertise in designing and managing both SQL and NoSQL databases, with a strong understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across the organization
• Strong experience in Agile development processes, with the ability to lead sprints and contribute to continuous process improvement

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust end-to-end solutions, from front-end interfaces to back-end services, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
• Drive the adoption and implementation of cloud-native technologies and practices, with a focus on leveraging GCP services for scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Utilize deep knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and related frameworks to deliver high-quality code that meets rigorous performance and maintainability standards
• Architect and develop scalable microservices and APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data flow between distributed systems
• Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance across both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., Firestore) databases
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and maintain high system availability
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Take a leadership role in Agile processes, guiding sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure successful and timely delivery of high-quality software
• Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer certifications
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure in addition to GCP
• Advanced experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging complex systems
• In-depth knowledge of application security principles, particularly in cloud-native environments
