Join our growing Infrastructure team as a Senior Software Engineer to architect cloud infrastructure, strengthen security best practices, and improve scalability of our product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
  • Enterprise experience with Kubernetes
  • Passion and interest in improving engineering security practices and security tasks
  • Experience with GCP/AWS and cloud architectures/services
  • Experience working with infrastructure provisioning tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc
  • Experience enabling CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, or others
  • Solid background in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Experience in the reliability and performance space

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and improve our existing observability and alerting solutions for our production systems
  • Increase deployment velocity & reliability by extending CI/CD adoption across all services and environments
  • Automate our cloud architecture via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
  • Work closely with other engineers to solve reliability and development velocity problems
  • Design and implement security controls and provide guidance to other engineers on security best practices
  • Provide architecture guidance for all new services and infrastructure
  • Provide technical leadership and direction on projects to choose the best architecture, tools, and design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance
