Summary
Join our growing Infrastructure team as a Senior Software Engineer to architect cloud infrastructure, strengthen security best practices, and improve scalability of our product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
- Enterprise experience with Kubernetes
- Passion and interest in improving engineering security practices and security tasks
- Experience with GCP/AWS and cloud architectures/services
- Experience working with infrastructure provisioning tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc
- Experience enabling CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, or others
- Solid background in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience in the reliability and performance space
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and improve our existing observability and alerting solutions for our production systems
- Increase deployment velocity & reliability by extending CI/CD adoption across all services and environments
- Automate our cloud architecture via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Work closely with other engineers to solve reliability and development velocity problems
- Design and implement security controls and provide guidance to other engineers on security best practices
- Provide architecture guidance for all new services and infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership and direction on projects to choose the best architecture, tools, and design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance
