Remote Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java)
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles
• You are adaptable and excel in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering stakeholders to uphold a high quality standard in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Step into a product management role when needed to ensure that our solutions meet our high standards
• Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating both frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability
• Engage in all phases of project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is highly valued
• Background in startup environments, possibly as a founder or early employee, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and versatility
