Remote Senior System Engineer, Website Builder

Summary

Join Hostinger and we'll grow fast! We're looking for a System Engineer with a passion for building and maintaining large-scale infrastructure to operate Website Builder product, join a highly capable team, and work in a rapidly growing environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of solid experience in managing systems and working in infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform for automating deployments and managing configurations
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, enabling efficient application deployment and management
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions
• Strong understanding of CloudFlare for performance optimization, security, and CDN services
• Proficient programming/scripting skills in GoLang, Python, or another relevant language
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward resolving technical challenges

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain both physical and virtual servers across on-premise environments and major cloud providers
• Innovate by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance our infrastructure
• Design, develop, and implement new features for our Website Builder product, directly contributing to its evolution and success
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using IaC and automation tools making operations more efficient and reducing manual work
• Continuously optimize systems and services, identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks to improve reliability and scalability
• Develop and enhance monitoring systems to proactively detect issues, focusing on symptoms rather than outages to maintain system health
• Participate in incident response and contribute to blameless postmortems to continuously improve our processes and systems
