Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, with a focus on mobile, web, and desktop applications
  • Proficiency in WebDriverIO and other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA) and defect tracking systems
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools and techniques

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile, web, and desktop applications using WebDriverIO and other relevant frameworks
  • Create and manage test automation frameworks that are scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain
  • Implement best practices for test automation and continuously improve the automation process
  • Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure adequate test coverage
  • Perform both manual and automated testing, as necessary, to ensure the highest quality of the applications
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quick feedback and efficient release cycles
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to implement and maintain test automation in CI/CD environments
  • Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within the test automation team
  • Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to the development teams
  • Contribute to performance testing efforts to ensure applications meet performance criteria
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement security testing practices and ensure the robustness of the applications
