Requirements
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or in a related technical field
- 1+ years of experience on large scale distributed systems
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Basic understanding of cloud networking and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in any of Java/C++/Python/Go
- Knowledge of Maven or similar build environments
- Hands on experience in pipeline automation using CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Terraform, BASH, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
- Ability to write technical reports, effectively summarizing key data
- Passion for learning and then delivering solutions using latest technologies
- Comfortable navigating the fast moving, unstructured nature of a hyper-growth startup
- Strong affinity for collaboration and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI/CD systems and developer productivity solutions
- Solve problems for fellow Dremio engineers by leveraging and contributing to playbooks, identifying short term workarounds, automating processes where manual processes exist, working on infrastructure across all major clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), managing access to key infrastructure, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and associated systems
- Automate local development workflows
- Analyze performance bottlenecks, root cause issues, file defects, follow up with developers, and document resolutions
- Report out on the status, reliability and robustness of our CI/CD systems
- Actively participate in code reviews
