Join the Documents team at Coalition as an engineer and contribute to the development and execution of key projects, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all documents generated within our insurance platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 1-3 years of professional software development experience or a combination of internships and relevant project work
• Proficient in modern programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience working with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with observability concepts, such as log aggregation, tracing, and metrics collection
• Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

• Write scalable, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance, security, and reliability
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring code is deployed with confidence and high quality
• Implement robust alerting, monitoring, and dashboarding solutions to proactively maintain operational stability and system observability
• Lead small-scale projects independently or collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on medium to large projects, partnering with stakeholders for successful delivery
• Participate in peer code reviews, contributing to team knowledge sharing and maintaining coding best practices
