Software Engineer

Summary

Join Chorus One's product engineering team as a software engineer to build customer-facing offerings, including the OPUS Pool Ethereum staking portal and Chorus One SDK. You will collaborate with platform engineering teams, work with various programming languages (Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, etc.), and utilize Postgres databases. The role involves leading frontend development, designing and developing new features, supporting and collaborating with colleagues, and driving innovation. You will need 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript and React.js skills, and experience with SQL databases. Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a software engineer
• Strong TypeScript knowledge and experience working with React.js
• Experience working on a user-facing product, operating and maintaining applications in production
• Understanding of at least one statically typed programming language such as Rust, Go, or Kotlin
• Experience using SQL databases
• Good understanding of security principles
• Strong communication skills and ownership to drive new features independently
• Ability to work in the Switzerland ± 6 hours time zone
• Experience working with blockchain technologies, or passion for learning

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development; bring experience in building frontend applications, expertise in improving for performance, scalability and ease of use
• Design and develop new features; understand customer needs, identify solutions, discuss implementation with engineers, and drive implementation to completion
• Support and collaborate; review and discuss engineering designs, review code, help fellow engineers, and mentor them technically
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement; seek to simplify, optimize, and secure staking services and systems
