Remote Special Projects Associate

Summary

Join our team as a Special Projects Associate, supporting a wide range of projects that aim to improve building electrification. You will collect and analyze data, prepare content, inform tool development, and identify new topics for exploration.

• Collaborative and communicative work style; enthusiasm for working with both technical and non-technical collaborators
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical aptitude
• Ability to establish scope of assigned tasks, execute on them, and independently communicate status updates
• 2+ years of experience working in a team environment related to research, analysis, policy, and/or communications
• Facility with technology to support remote teamwork

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing macroeconomic and policy data to inform a global strategy that will advance electrification as a cornerstone of national climate policy
• Preparing accessible and actionable content for technical and policy presentations, articles, reports, and social media that make the case for progress and inspire national audiences to action
• Informing the development of tools and resources that help stakeholders visualize and understand the value of electrification, in close collaboration with our Research, Data Science and Product teams
• Identifying new topics for exploration and collaborating with colleagues from across the organization to build momentum for new Special Projects
• Building your working knowledge of the broad set of technical, policy, social, and economic benefits of and barriers to electrification, while developing expertise in selected areas of interest
• Providing analytical support to internal stakeholders, including the Policy Team, the Communities Team, and the Communications Team, to build a deep understanding of Rewiring America’s strategy and its implementation
