Summary

Join the team as our next Staff Product Manager - Twilio Segment’s Product team. As a staff PM at Twilio, you will be responsible for leading by example, building high impact products with hands-on execution. You will drive the product vision, roadmap and create scalable and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management and/or experience managing complex technical products preferably in the data compliance and governance space
  • Curiosity : Understanding and curiosity around the evolving customer data landscape and various regulations and technologies
  • Congeniality : Experience brainstorming vague ideas and turning them into concrete specs working with engineering and design teams
  • Clarity : Excellent written and communication skills
  • Adaptability : Good at dealing with ambiguity and clearly synthesizing actionable next steps

Responsibilities

  • Craft Twilio Segment’s product strategy with regards to changing global data compliance & privacy landscapes (EU GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA etc)
  • Own our existing GDPR-user-deletion functionality & end to end data management efforts along with driving Segment’s data retention strategy
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the product development cycle to align, build and deliver the right privacy & compliance primitives
  • Drive the strategic direction and coordinate efforts around new opportunities for the platform, including strategic cross team infra cost savings efforts
  • Unlock key privacy and compliance-sensitive products and features to drive monetization opportunities for large enterprise customers
  • Take a hands-on approach to ensure product development stays on track, removing obstacles and addressing issues as they arise
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, stay ahead of competitors, and ensure Twilio’s products remain competitive and cutting-edge
  • Engage with key customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and translate these insights into actionable product improvements
