Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or related technical field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in remote position, collaboratively with academics, and demonstrate initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in programming language Python and SQL; in databases such as SQL databases, analytic databases
  • 3+ years of experience in teaching in the fields of data analytics, data science, or data engineering
  • Proficient in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
  • Experience with source control tools Git and Github and coding project management tools like Jira

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical resources and training opportunities to educators to enhance their ability to teach Snowflake and incorporate it into their coursework
  • Evangelize Snowflake by engaging through presentations, workshops, hackathons, and other interactive technical events for academia
  • Establish robust connections with educators and academic leaders to drive the integration of Snowflake into academic curricula
  • Grow strategic partnerships with higher education institutions and educators to expand the reach of Snowflake technology within academic community
  • Evaluate technical contents created by Snowflake SMEs and determine how these can be converted into quality learning materials for academia, through improvements to words, visuals, codes, and overall flow of ideas
  • Build learning modules including lecture slides and labs for academic learners through partnerships with Snowflake SMEs
  • Record videos add visual design and deliver quality multimedia content to support the curriculum
  • Create sample student projects built on Snowflake key features and real world or open data sets to help educators and students with compelling experiential learning
  • Incorporate feedback from professors and students to continuously refine and improve the content
