Requirements

  • 8+ years of automotive claims-handling experience, with appraisal skills
  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • I-Car Platinum certified
  • Expertise in SIU claim handling
  • Extensive appraisal software experience and understanding of the industry landscape
  • Proven ability to mentor, train, and develop team members across multiple business units
  • Expertise in servicing complex auto claims, including litigation, as well as experience working with outside experts, attorneys, and public adjusters
  • Have a strong working knowledge of telematics and the impact to claims and the repair industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tort law and state and federal law as it applies to coverage and technical repair methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and execute physical damage standard operating procedures
  • Design and implement a world-class quality and control program around repair and total loss claim handling
  • Implement cutting-edge claims technologies around instant estimating, touchless claims, total loss settlements, and salvage returns
  • Work with vendor management to establish relationships that make Lemonade stand out in the industry
  • Collaborate with the claims operations team to execute quarterly and annual OKRs at both the company and individual level
