Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with callers
- Ability to follow scripts and guidelines accurately
- UA (Unavailability of Assistance) rate of 20% or lower, demonstrating reliability and availability to handle calls
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges with a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and development to enhance job performance and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls from Medicare beneficiaries and asking qualifying questions to determine their needs and eligibility for speaking with a sales agent
- Transferring qualified callers to the appropriate sales agent or department for further assistance
- Providing excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Adhering to scripts and guidelines provided for call handling and qualification purposes
- Achieving and maintaining a UA (Unavailability of Assistance) rate of 20% or lower, demonstrating reliability and availability to assist callers
- Participating in special projects as assigned by management, including outbound calling campaigns or quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a positive and responsive attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Being coachable and receptive to feedback to continuously improve performance
- Responding promptly to chats and participating in group activities to enhance team collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Attending meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
