Remote Weekend Overnight Obstetrics Care Provider (NP/CNM)

Summary

Join our team at Pomelo Care and be part of improving care for moms and babies by providing direct patient care overnight through chat, phone, and video. As a provider, you will engage in direct obstetrics patient care on Saturdays 8pm-8am ET, assess urgent concerns, complete documentation, collaborate with daytime clinical staff, and represent the Pomelo practice in a warm and professional manner.

Requirements

• Have 4+ years experience in obstetrics care as a CNM or WHNP/FNP
• Reside in a nursing compact state
• Are internet-connected, able to work remotely via video, phone and text
• Are willing to get licensed in multiple states

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct obstetrics patient care on Saturdays 8pm-8am ET as a Pomelo provider
• Assess urgent concerns and proactively triage patients to support appropriate utilization of emergency services
• Complete documentation of all overnight patient encounters
• Collaborate with daytime clinical staff to ensure smooth transition of care for patients who contacted us overnight
• Represent the Pomelo practice in a warm and professional manner
