Workout Team Specialist

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required (some college coursework a plus)
• Minimum of three years of Financial Services experience, ideally in auto finance or an installment loan portfolio
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel /Google Suite
• Able to master use of web-based system of record (LoanPro) – Training Provided
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written as roles are a combination phone and communicating through chat and email
• Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
• Excellent “people” skills and a strong customer service attitude
• Demonstrates problem solving ability
• Ability to express empathy and unconditional positive regard as you will be dealing with distressed consumers
• Ability to learn new processes
• Able to work a flexible schedule which may include some overtime, some nights, weekends, and holidays; Honest with strong work ethic, unscheduled absences are rare, always punctual

Responsibilities

• Work directly with financially distressed customers
• Evaluate the customer’s situation against our possible remedies
• Negotiate with customer to keep loan active and prevent loss for the company and for the customer
• Process and follow up on the workout remedy plan until completed, which may possibly include the entire reinstatement process of repossessed collateral or an extension
• Meet monthly productivity and quality goals
• Comply with all federal and state specific laws that regulate collections and servicing activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Auto finance experience
• Installment loan portfolio
• Collection experience
