Summary

Join Precision Medicine Group as a Resource Manager I or II on the East Coast to manage and optimize organizational resources, providing operational support to the business. The role involves executing staffing processes, allocating global resources, working with stakeholders to understand resource needs, and identifying solutions for current and future needs. You will also support negotiations, resolve staffing conflicts, recommend improvements to business operations, prepare reports, and escalate critical situations. This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proven negotiation and influencing skills, and demonstrated experience in resource management and the CRO industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years resource management experience or equivalent, relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies
  • Proven experience in negotiating with and influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated prior CRO or similar industry experience
  • Demonstrated prior Resource Management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Possesses strong organizational/written communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Appropriate financial acumen and understanding of budgets, forecasting, utilization and realization concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills including clear and concise verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Performs allocation and assignment of global resources for one or more small departments
  • Work with stakeholder to understand resource requirements
  • Identifies and recommends approaches to address current and future needs
  • Identifies capacity constraints and hiring needs for department leaders
  • Supports negotiations and resolution of staffing conflicts in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders
  • Negotiates and resolves staffing conflicts in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Recommends and influences business operations as it relates to Resource Management
  • Prepare metrics and summary reports on resourcing activities as necessary
  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk staffing situations to the Resource Management leadership and Executive Team as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
